2. What is prejudice? Where in the world have you seen prejudice? What are the effects of prejudice?
I think prejudice is a biased opinion. Prejudice is everywhere and throughout the history, prejudice have been a huge problem. Although I think some prejudice from the past has lessen, (prejusdice and descrimination with color of skin, etc.) there are still a lot of prjudice remaining and also prejudice that are newly happening as the time passes. Prejudice can block people from being open minded and give the wrong idea of many different things. The effects may be the discrimination that certain people are getting unfairly.

I highly agree the fact that prejudice prevents people from being open minded. There had been some prejudice I noticed about African people many Koreans had: they live in huts beside wild animals and are canibals. In some aspects, I think this discourages people from visiting Africa. Also, in a presenation a minister made about Africa after the mission trip in which my father was the guide, it said that the ministers shared testimony with the Massai tribes. The thing is, the presentation stated the Massai tribes were indigenous tribes of "canibal" people. This was a presentation was a report to inform about ministry in Africa, but such descriptions can plant the prejudice that "in Africa we have to evangelize the Canibals who could kill us" which would discourage the missionaries that were thinking about to go to Africa as missionaries. Therefore, we have to be careful not to inform people incorrect informations that could make prejudice.
